Adaptive Computer Testing For Online Courses
Abstract
Herewith we propose multi-step algorithm for
computer-based testing allowing to differentiate and
individualize academic performance rating procedure and
subsequent testing path. Formulas to calculate quality points
achieved by examinees are proposed. Exit criteria from the
testing system are defined. A new function Rr was constructed
to take decision based on three variables Ykn, Y6, Yc specifying
student’s knowledge and skills.
